Study and performance optimization of a range of ECOSTA type sandwich panels. To begin, a series of measurements were taken to determine a robust model in the AcouSYS software package. The acoustic performance of the panels was then optimized by modifying the design, in respect of airborne noise insulation and rain noise level.
