CDC Habitat and the CSTB are combining their expertise in housing
On the occasion of the 79th HLM (rent-controlled housing) Congress of the Union Sociale de l'Habitat (USH), on Tuesday, October 9 in Marseille, CDC Habitat, a real estate subsidiary of the Caisse des dépôts, and the Scientific and Technical Center for Building (CSTB), have initiated a Research & Development partnership focusing on housing.

The winner of the Silver BIM Award 2018, the Jardins de l'Arche tower in La Défense, will feature three hotels, offices and an observation platform at the top, by 2022. With its 54 floors, standing 200 meters high, this project won in the category of new construction projects with an area of more than 40,000 square meters.

3rd Ifop-CSTB innovation survey: environmental performance, a driver for innovation by construction VSEs and SMEs
The 3rd survey conducted by the Ifop for the CSTB among construction companies of less than 500 employees (VSE/SME) confirms the importance of innovation in the view of company directors, especially innovations that improve energy performance and reduce the environmental impact of materials.
