Defining a methodology for assessing load shedding systems. Three approaches were developed:
- a statistical approach for a housing block (3,500 units) to quantify the impact on heating consumption
- instrumentation installed in 15 homes to quantify the impact on thermal comfort
- modeling to assess the load shedding system under other location and time conditions on thermal consumption and comfort
